Terms & Conditions for the YO! Gift Card
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
The following terms and conditions apply to your purchase, use and ownership of a YO! Gift Card. Your purchase and/or use of a YO! Gift Card signifies your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
You must therefore read these terms and conditions carefully. If you wish to print a copy, please do so. We may change these terms and conditions from time to time.

1. The YO! Gift Card
The YO! Gift card enables its owner to pay in full or in part for YO! products and services at certain venues. It is available in electronic or hard-copy format, and as well as making purchases you can check your balance at any time.
2. Owner of the YO! Gift Card programme
YO! Sushi UK Limited is responsible for the YO! Gift Card. We are registered in England and Wales, with company number 02994470. Our registered office is at 34-40 Brunel Road, London, England, W3 7XR. In these terms and conditions, we refer to this business as “we” and by related words.
The YO! Gift Card is managed through our card partner, Toggle.
3. Buying a YO! Gift Card
The YO! Gift Card is available from our microsite, which you can reach at https://shop.yosushi.com
It is available in electronic format as a code that can be used to make purchases, or you can choose to receive a physical card that can be used. You can buy a YO! Gift Card for yourself, or you can buy one as a present for someone else. All references to the YO! Gift Card in these terms and conditions are to both formats, unless we specify otherwise.
You must be 18 or over to buy a YO! Gift Card.
4. Charging your YO! Gift Card
The YO! Gift Card is charged once, when you purchase it. You cannot top it up at a later date.
The minimum value you can place on a YO! Gift Card is £5, and the maximum is £1,000. You can spend any amount you like each time (1p minimum), provided that there is enough credit on your card.
5. Using your YO! Gift Card
Where you use it
You can use your YO! Gift Card to pay in full or in part for items in any YO! Sushi restaurant in the United Kingdom except at Luton Airport. A list of our current restaurants can be found at https://yosushi.com/restaurants.
You cannot use your YO! Gift Card elsewhere, for example at YO! kiosks in retail outlets or for YO! produce sold in places other than restaurants.
How you use it
Whenever you order food or drinks in a restaurant using our digital ordering facility, you enter the code for your YO! Gift Card. If you prefer to order directly with a member of staff (and this is not restricted by our guidelines – for example, in relation to COVID-19), the member of staff can do this for you.
However, in certain restaurants, you may use your YO! Gift Card when using our digital ordering facility, but not when ordering directly with a member of staff. These restaurants are; Birmingham Selfridges, Cheltenham, Cheshire Oaks, Edinburgh Princes Street, Guildford, Heathrow T2, Heathrow T3, London Selfridges, Manchester Trafford Selfridges, St Pancras Station, Swindon and Windsor; and we may update this list at any time,
6. Checking your balance
You can check your balance at any time at https://yo-1.mytoggle.io/balance. Also, any time you use your YO! Gift Card you will be told your new balance after the purchase.
If you are permitted by law to receive a refund, and you paid using your YO! Gift Card, the refund will be loaded back on to your YO! Gift Card.
8. No exchange for cash
Funds loaded on to a YO! Gift Card cannot be exchanged for cash or equivalent. They must be used to purchase YO! products and services in restaurants.
9. Keeping your card safe
You should keep your YO! Gift Card safe and not divulge the code to anyone. If you lose your YO! Gift Card, or if it is stolen or otherwise used, let us know at email@example.com.
If you have registered your YO! Gift Card, we can give you a replacement card in cases of loss or theft, but any funds spent by an unauthorised person cannot be recovered. You should, therefore, treat the card as you would treat money in your wallet.
Similarly, as is the case with most gift cards, the YO! Gift Card is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme – therefore, any funds lost are not insured or compensated.
10. Lifespan of the card
Your YO! Gift Card will automatically come to an end one year after purchase. At this point, any funds on it will be lost. Therefore, you should use it within that period – and, remember, you can use it to pay in part.
11. Your data
In purchasing and using your YO! Gift Card, we will collect, store and process personal data in relation to you. Our use of that data is described in our https://yosushi.com/privacy-policy.
We value your personal data. We would never give it to a third party so that the third party can market to you for its own purposes.
12. Our liability
We will not be liable to you for the non-availability or non-functioning of the card, except if we are negligent and where the law prevents us from limiting our liability. In general, however, we will try to resolve any issues that arise.
13. Changes to these terms and conditions
We may make updates to the YO! Gift Card from time to time.
We may also change these terms and conditions from time to time. Any such changes will appear on this page and will be binding on you from the next time you use the YO! Gift Card.
14. Governing law
These terms and conditions, together with our privacy notice, set out the full agreement between us in relation to the YO! Gift Card. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and by the jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
