- YO! Pulled Pork Teriyaki
- Ready-to-steam Bao Buns
- Cucumber
- Carrot
- Spring Onion
- Fresh Coriander
- Sesame Seeds – to garnish
- Optional: Red Chili, Pickled Radish or Pickled Ginger
method:
- Empty the contents of the pulled pork teriyaki pouch into an ovenproof dish and cover with foil. Place in the center of a pre-heated oven (200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6) for 20 minutes.
- Whilst that’s cooking, prep your garnish by julienning cucumber and carrot, and slicing spring onions.
- Steam the bao buns according to packet instructions – usually around 8–10 minutes until soft and fluffy.
- Once the pork is heated, gently shred with forks if needed and give it a good stir through of the sticky teriyaki sauce, before returning to the oven for a further 10 minutes.
- Carefully open the bao buns and load them up with the warm pulled pork, followed by the fresh cucumber, carrot, and spring onions.
- Finish with fresh coriander, a sprinkle of sesame seeds, and, if you fancy, a few slices of red chili or some pickled veg for extra zing.
